From 2002 to 2005, I had the privilege of working as an apprentice to Ben Dyer of Hillsborough, N.C., where I learned the art of metalsmithing. When we relocated to Boston in 2006, I moved my studio into a revitalized stove factory along side other artists where I continued to work up until our move to Vermont in 2018. After spending the last few years renovating our Norwich, Vermont farmhouse, my husband and I restored a small workshop in the attached barn that I now use as my studio.
